Gwen Stefani Unique Pink Silk Bridal Gown
Gwen Stefani made another fashion statement as she walked down the aisle to marry hubby Gavin Rossdale in 2002. The stunning pink silk wedding dress by designer John Galliano is being donated to the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London, which will host an exhibition of Wedding Dresses in 2013. Gwen Stefani appears on the April cover of Elle magazine and says this about her wedding gown:
“I wanted it to be over the top, but not traditional – I wanted it to be everything. But how do you tell this genius [John Galliano] over the phone? He was, like, OK, and sent me these drawings of this unbelievable, perfect dress. It’s going into the V&A now. I didn’t wanna send it because I was scared it would get ruined. But it’s a work of art, it needed to be seen.”
