Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Exchanged Vows on May 14, 2011
She’s a county superstar . . . he’s a country superstar . . . together, they’re just regular country folk when they’re not busy raking in CMA Awards. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert both earned last years’s CMA Vocalist of the Year award, while she also nabbed the Album of the Year. And now they’re officially husband and wife!
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert married on May 14 at the historic Don Strange Ranch in San Antonio. The Texas-size wedding boasted a guest list of 550, including fellow country stars Martina McBride, Reba McEntire and Cee Lo Green. Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green are both judges on The Voice.

The gorgeous Brooke Burke and her “soul mate” David Charvet secretly tied the knot in St. Bart’s on August 12. The couple looked stunning in white in an intimate ceremony aboard a sailboat off a private beach, with the captain also serving as the officiant. A few, close friends attended the wedding.
Brooke and David managed to keep the news from their mothers and only told their children last minute about their plans to “elope.” Brooke Burke shared her celebrity wedding news and details on ModernMom.com, while her wedding pics can be seen at Merci Gala.
Although the couple has a son and a daughter together, they held off marriage until the timing was right for both of them. Brooke has two daughters from a previous marriage. They planned the secret affair to avoid the paparazzi.
Brooke wore a Mark Zunino gown and diamond-accented Jimmy Choo heels, with her long locks cascading down. In her blog, she writes:
“I must admit that fear has a funny way of delaying things. . . It was pure love, commitment, and romance that lead me to marry David in such a picture perfect way. Trust me when I say that my love story has been unpredictable at times. But this day was a long time coming, beautifully staged, and totally meant to be. The summer of 2011, and its many changes, will forever be one of my FAVORITE life chapters.”

Vanessa Minnillo celebrated her engagement to Nick Lachey at an intimate bridal shower.

The celebrity couple has kept their wedding date secret, but sources say it could be any day now.
“Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding” will air on TLC weeks after the ceremony for all their fans, according to Celebrity-Gossip.
“We’re lucky to have such passionate and loving fans, and we thought partnering with TLC on this special would be the best way to share the exciting journey we’re on with all the people that support us and our relationship,” the said said in a statement.
Entertainer and former 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey starred in a previous show with ex-wife Jessica Simpson called Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.
After the release of “What’s Left of Me,” his 2006 music video starring Vanessa, the two began dating. They announced their engagement in November 2010.
TV personality Vanessa Minnillo was a host on MTV’s Total Request Live and a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. She’s a former beauty pageant contestant, who today is a TV host, model and actress.

Another beautiful bride and her beau: British singer Lily Allen married Sam Cooper on June 11 in an intimate ceremony in England (aka the Cotswolds village of Cranham).
The bride wore a Parisian lace gown by Delphine Manivet and two pairs of custom bridal shoes by Rupert Sanderson.
Underneath her flowing dress, Lily’s feet were adorned with custom Hydra bridal shoes in a mixture of iridescent pearled suedes and boasting 5½-inch heels, according to a press release. Yes, you read that right, the pregnant bride walked the aisle in towering peep-toe heels!
She also chose a pair of Rossini bridal flats in the same colors for the evening reception.
“Lily loved the simplicity, elegance and subtle sexiness of Rupert Sanderson’s shoes.”
On working with Lily, Rupert said: “I’m thrilled to have made Lily’s shoes for her big day. She’s a joy to work with, knows what she likes and what she looks great in – we had a lot of fun. I made her two pairs, a sky high pair of Hydra’s and a pair of flats – both in a combination of silk and pearled suedes.”

Kim Kardashian‘s 20.5 carat engagement ring – umm, mega rock – is said to be worth $2 million. Wow . . . we are speechless! The 30-year-old reality star, who has been seen shopping for engagement rings solo, is officially engaged to NBA player Kris Humphries, 26. TMZ reports the Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring “features a 16.5 carat emerald cut center stone flanked by two 2-carat trapezoids.”
New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries proposed to the famous Kardashian at her Beverly Hills home on May 18. He popped the question by laying rose petals on her bedroom floor that read, “Will you marry me?” The two have been dating for six months and the Kardashian clan, including sisters Khloe and Kourtney and mom Kris Jenner, are announcing their excitement via Twitter. These laid back country stars graced the cover of US Weekly after exchanging vows on May 14 in San Antonio. Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony on May 15 at a vineyard in Napa Valley. Approximately 300 guests attended the evening wedding ceremony and rustic wine-country reception coordinated by celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss.
Tamera and twin sister Tia Mowry, also the maid of honor, starred in the 90s sitcom “Sister, Sister.” Adam Housley is a correspondent for Fox news. The bride wore a Carolina Herrera wedding gown, followed by two outfit changes for the affair, according to People.
Sounds like the wedding decor was beautiful, including farm tables with pale pink and white hydrangeas and roses, olive branches and hundreds of white candles. Guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner and late night snacks of tacos and cupcakes. Yum!

Wearing a strapless Vera Wang bridal gown and veil with loose locks, Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge married beau Caleb Followill on Thurday, May 12, US Weekly reports. The ceremony took place at the romantic San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif. The mermaid Vera Wang bridal gown features layers of Chantilly and corded lace applique, as well as raw edge swirling chiffon detail at back. Lily Aldridge and musician Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon met in 2007 at the Coachella Music Festival. The groom looked sleek in a Gucci suit. Congratulations!
